Call me Anthony. What can I say about music and me? I've started this journey since listening to my grandmothers records on her living room floor across from her plastic covered couches. Influenced on Motown, Disco, Classic Rock, I started my personal music journey with the clarinet in High School. My father, not appreciating the instrument I loved, encouraged me to take up the saxophone. I haven't put it down since. I've been fortunate to add on guitar and bass playing to my music techniques. I did this broaden my horizon, to be an asset to other musicians.
This love has turned into wanting to learn more on how instruments are made, the woods, the metals, the strings. I saw how the industry was saturated full musicians that could play, but I wanted more. I wanted to know my instrument in inside and out. So I began to learn how my favorite instruments work. I then wanted to help others realize this by offering my time and energy to help others to know their instrument and keep it in the best possible shape.
Musical instruments to me are the only works art that be appreciated in more than one way. They can look pretty on a wall or on a stand. But they can also be played to make you nod your head and tap your feet. Art making art.
